Residence and work permit — Croatia

A Croatian employer applies for your permit. Once approved you get a visa to enter and collect your residence card.

What you need

• Approved permit from the Croatian Ministry of the Interior (via employer)
• Passport, police clearance, qualifications
• Nepal labour permit

Step by step

• Get an offer through a licensed agency.
• Employer applies for the permit.
• Book a visa appointment (Croatia has no embassy in Nepal — check the current visa centre).
• Do the medical at an approved clinic and the 2-day pre-departure orientation.
• Pay the welfare fund and insurance, and get your labour permit (Shram Swikriti) through FEIMS.
• Keep copies of everything, including your receipt for every rupee paid.
