How to move to Israel from Nepal
Caregiver jobs through the Nepal–Israel government (G2G) scheme pay around 6,000+ shekels a month. Recruitment opens in rounds.
Why Nepalis go: Relatively high pay for caregiving and a government-run, low-cost process.
The catch: Recruitment happens only in occasional rounds with lotteries, there are security risks, and a fee dispute was holding up new deals in 2026.
Most common route: Apply when DoFE announces the caregiver round → lottery → screening → visa.
Caregiver (G2G)
Look after elderly or disabled people in Israel, recruited through the two governments with a lottery.
- Who it's for: People aged 25–45 with caregiving training (e.g. SEE + 15 months ANM/CMA, or +2 plus a recognised 3-month caregiver course) and English.
- Cost: Mostly low (tests, medical, ticket). In 2026 Israel proposed agency fees of about 6,443 shekels, which Nepal opposed — check the current rule.
- Time: Several months after a round opens.
- Stay: Caregiver permits generally allow up to about 63 months.
- Family: No.
- Leads to permanent residence: No.
Scams to avoid
- Only the G2G route is legal for Israel caregiver jobs from Nepal.
