How to move to Poland from Nepal

Work permit (Type A) + national visa

Your Polish employer gets a work permit from the local governor's office; you then apply for a work visa.

• Cost: Visa about €80; agencies may charge more — ask for receipts.
• Time: Several months.
• Stay: Up to 3 years.
• Family: Possible after obtaining a residence card.
• Leads to permanent residence: Long-term EU residence after 5 years.

Scams to avoid

• Seasonal permits are for farm work only and end after 9 months — they are not a path to 'settle in Europe'.
