The Gurkha Contingent of the Singapore Police and professional Employment Passes are the main routes.
Why Nepalis go: High salaries, safety, and a long Gurkha tradition.
The catch: Employment Pass needs a high salary (from S$5,600 a month); ordinary work permits are limited by source country and sector.
Most common route: Gurkha selection in Nepal, or a professional job offer.
