Work or study without a visa — India

As a Nepali citizen you don't need a visa to enter, live, work or study in India.

What you need

• Nepali citizenship certificate or passport (needed when flying)
• For jobs: the documents the employer asks for (sometimes Aadhaar-like ID or PAN for salary/tax)

Step by step

• Carry your citizenship or passport.
• For air travel, carry your passport or citizenship certificate (the airline will check).
