Qatar tourist visa for Nepali citizens

Visa on arrival for QAR 100 at Hamad International Airport — but only with a hotel booked through Discover Qatar. Otherwise, apply online in advance for a Hayya A1 visa.

Qatar's official visa page lists Nepal among the nationalities who pay QAR 100 for a visa. You can get it on arrival at Hamad International Airport only if you booked a visa-on-arrival eligible hotel through Discover Qatar before you travel. If you'd rather book your own accommodation, apply in advance for a Hayya A1 Entry Visa (a hotel reservation is needed for that application too). If you hold a valid visa or residence permit for the Schengen area, the UK, the US, Australia, New Zealand or Canada, Qatar's page offers other routes (Hayya A2/A3) — check it for your case.

Steps

  1. Choose how you'll get the visa — Either book a visa-on-arrival eligible hotel through Discover Qatar and pay at the airport, or apply online in advance for a Hayya A1 Entry Visa.
  2. For visa on arrival: book through Discover Qatar — Book your hotel stay on the Discover Qatar website before you fly. Without a Discover Qatar booking you can't get the visa on arrival.
  3. For Hayya A1: apply online — Submit your passport details, travel information and hotel reservation on the Hayya portal. Once approved you'll be asked to pay the visa fee.
  4. Arrive and clear immigration — Show your passport (valid at least 3 months from arrival), your hotel booking and your return ticket. On a visa on arrival, pay the QAR 100 fee at the airport.
